Alongside many collections like the V&A in London, they have a profit centre in the form of a shop to keep the funds flowing through to the charity.
What can we sell that doesn’t cost the Earth, is of great use to you and doesn’t break down or fall apart?

“Ask some fashion designers to create exclusive, limited-edition collections inspired by water themes, including clothing, accessories, and lifestyle products. And get them to do a shopping bag to match as I don’t use a hand bag anymore”.
“Sell high-quality prints and posters featuring artwork inspired by the WOW collections. Water and art enthusiasts will love them!”
“Do some more of your books, and maybe magazines; make everything related to water and environmental issues and add your poems and stories or your WOW characters.”
“Open an online platform that sells water-themed merchandise globally as you’ll reach a wider audience. I’ve designed some beautiful water scene greetings cards – you can use them”.
“Sell some event-specific merchandise during your exhibitions, talks, and special events as they’ll be memorable keepsakes for visitors.”
“Sell tickets to your water-themed workshops, DIY sessions, and crafting events, especially for those using materials inspired by the collections.”

We also did some browsing and here are a few unique water-themed products and waterlife items from around the world:
Cultivated Marimo Moss Balls (Japan): These are unique spherical algae (Aegagropila linnaei) balls that naturally occur in some lakes in Japan. They are often kept as ornamental items in aquariums to help keep nitrates down.
Water-Harvesting Pottery (India): In regions with water scarcity, pottery designed to harvest and condense water from the air is used. This innovative technique helps communities access clean water. Waterfall Swing (Global): An interactive art installation that allows people to swing back and forth beneath a water printer without getting wet.
Watercolor World Maps (Various Prints): Maps depicting the world’s ocean, rivers, and lakes in beautiful watercolor designs.
Water Drop Photography Art Prints (Global): High-speed photography capturing the intricate shapes of water droplets, frozen in time.
Bottled Glacial Water (Iceland): Water known for its purity and unique mineral composition.
Jewelry (Various): Designs inspired by water elements, wave patterns or those containing actual water capsules.
Water-Resistant Notepads (Various): Notepads first displayed by WOW in the early 1980’s (“Aquascribe” brand) – useful for jotting down poems in the rain or sketches while in the bath.
Waterproof Playing Cards (Various): Playing cards made from waterproof materials for use in aquatic environments like pools or hot tubs.
Hydrochromatic Umbrellas (Various): Umbrellas that change color when they come into contact with water, adding a fun and interactive element to rainy days. Hydrochromic Mugs first on show at WOW exhibition in 1986.
Water Ripple Effect Glasses (Various): Glassware with a ripple effect design inspired by the concentric circles formed when a droplet falls into water.
Water-Infused Skincare (Global): Beauty products containing water from unique sources, such as glacier water or thermal spring water, known for their skincare benefits.
