A brief word about our Founder:

Our founder, Joyce Latham Elam, travelled to many of the World’s troubled areas from India, China, Australia, America and Africa to those closer to home in Europe and the Middle East.  Sadly, she died without working out how to solve the growing environmental and social needs we still face, how to halt the tide of global water pollution, and the healthiest way to feed the World’s hungry.

Today, her charity continues the quest to find answers to those same needs through:

Public engagement
Supporting Water Awareness Projects
Storyboarding and Editing Short Films (just started!)
Arranging Interviews
Contributing on Social Media
Arranging face-to-face meetings
Hosting Student Fieldwork
Exhibition Design/Build
Preparing Rural Courses and Events
Local Charity/Group Support

Research and interpretation
Checking Water footprints
Reference Vaulting (Personal Museum Projects)
Publishing

Practical environmental work
Conducting Field trips
Arranging Wildlife Walks
Managing woodland and pasture
Preserving Water Heritage
Secondments

Your ongoing support enables WOW to contribute to the wider effort to protect clean water and healthy habitats.
