WOW Tribute Exhibitions

Welcome to the Tribute Exhibitions at WOW’s  IWAC

At the International Water Awareness Centre we will be honoring individuals who embody the spirit of selflessness and service. The Tribute Exhibitions celebrate the unsung heroes of our communities, recognizing the quiet acts of kindness and dedication that often go unnoticed.

These exhibitions serve as a platform to review history, embrace the present, and shine a light on the extraordinary contributions of individuals. Whether tending community gardens, volunteering at local shelters, mentoring youth, or advocating for environmental conservation, each exhibition acknowledges the diverse ways individuals positively impact society.

Every Tribute Exhibition is a heartfelt acknowledgment of the invaluable roles these individuals play in shaping our communities. From surprise birthday tributes and retirement celebrations to posthumous remembrances, these events highlight the power of human connection and the profound difference one person can make in the lives of many.

Our inaugural Tribute Exhibition will honor Gladys May Roberts, a visionary whose love for water led to the International Water Awareness Centre. Gladys’s passion for waterlife, oceans, and rivers serves as a beacon of inspiration, reminding us of the importance of cherishing and protecting our planet’s most precious resource.

As we pay tribute to individuals like Gladys, we invite the community to nominate their local heroes and share their impactful stories.

Through these exhibitions, we celebrate the beauty of humanity and reaffirm our commitment to fostering a culture of gratitude, empathy, and environmental stewardship.
