Volunteering Policy

At WOW (World of Water), we’re committed to safeguarding our blue planet. Together with like minded Volunteers at the heart of our mission,  we strive for global harmony, and nurturing the one World environment.

We like Volunteers who are dedicated individuals – those who are passionate about creating an ever better World for all life … as every aspect of life is water reliant. In turn, our charity is dedicated to those same individuals who instinctively know things have got to be better.

So here are a few reasons to Volunteer on site or remotely:

Making a Difference:     Many volunteers are driven to make a tangible impact on causes they are passionate about, especially, contributing to positive social change.

Gaining a Sense of Purpose:     Volunteering creates a sense of purpose, leading to increased satisfaction and fulfillment in life as individuals actively contribute to meaningful endeavors.

Feeling more Socially Connected:      The opportunity to connect with diverse groups of people and foster social inclusion is a powerful motivator for volunteers seeking meaningful and rewarding interactions.

Getting Health Benefits:     Studies have shown that volunteering can positively impact physical and mental health, reducing stress and promoting overall well-being.

Developing your Skills:     The chance to develop and enhance a wide range of skills, including communication and leadership, is a compelling reason for many volunteers to actively engage in charitable work.

The Opportunity to  Expand Your Views:     Volunteers often value the unique learning opportunities that arise, gaining insights into various fields and acquiring new knowledge and perspectives.

Community Building:      Volunteers play a crucial role in building and strengthening communities, fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility.

Career Advancement:     Volunteering can serve as a stepping stone for career advancement, providing valuable experience and showcasing skills while demonstrating a commitment to social responsibility.

Personal Growth:     Volunteering fosters personal growth by challenging individuals to step outside their comfort zones, building confidence, and promoting self-discovery.

Networking Opportunities:     The chance to connect with like-minded individuals, professionals, and organizations is an additional benefit, expanding one’s network and creating valuable relationships.

At WOW (World of Water), we value the significant contributions made by our volunteers. We are committed to providing a rewarding and supportive environment for all volunteers, recognizing their vital role in achieving our mission.
